Stan Grof, The Use of Psychedelics in Psychiatry

Stan Grof has articulated a model of care that honors every human’s inner wisdom and ability to seek knowledge and heal themselves. We  try to envision what the wise use of psychedelics for spiritual development might look like in practice. Stan imagines a future time when both the legal status of psychedelics has changed and psychiatry’s vision of consciousness has shifted sufficiently so that these materials might be used in a safe and productive manner for both healing and spiritual exploration.
